The Old Ballgame: The QBH Story

I grew up a sports-crazed kid in a sports-crazed family, so I couldn’t wait to sign up for baseball, like my older brother before me. Our local little league in Flushing, NY was run by an organization called the Queensboro Hill Athletic Association, or QBH, for short. My memories of that time in my life are many and magical.

This is the story of QBH.

CHARLES CARACCIOLO (Director/Producer/Editor) grew up in Flushing, NY, and began his film career early, making movies using a GAF 8mm movie camera he received as a Christmas gift in 1977.

After graduating from Queens College, he became a professional videotape editor in 1990. Over the years, Charles has edited a countless number of corporate films, local TV spots, PSA’s, national commercials, long-form television shows, training films and the like.

At the ripe old age of 54, Charles made his award-winning debut film, "We Were All Nobody’s," a documentary about the halcyon days of his youth spent toiling away in the Queens, NY rock-n-roll scene.
